The first stage of this transformational project will start mid-2025 when the site of the existing Library carpark is prepared for construction. When complete, Burwood Culture House will include a theatre, studio spaces, community lounge, café, sloping green lawn, public art, interactive waterplay features and an underground carpark. A ground-breaking project that will reinforce Burwood’s reputation as one of Sydney’s world-class arts and culture destinations.

The playground at Burwood Park is getting a complete re-vamp this year, with new equipment catering to all abilities and an upgrade to the surrounding BBQ and seating area. The project will also see an Exeloo public toilet system installed with easy wheelchair access.

Kicking off construction in Autumn 2025, this project will deliver an improved visual experience at Woodstock Park and other stimulating elements for all the senses. It will also include new seating, garden beds, footpath, plants and sculptures. Once complete, the sensory garden will be a quiet place to relax and enjoy the outdoors.
