Calling All Local Musicians, Business and Venue Operators

Burwood Council is launching PLAY LIST, a new live music program as part of the Live and Local initiative. This program is designed to help our community grow and sustain live music by offering:

Micro-festival events
Professional development workshops
A local industry forum

Get Involved!

We’re creating the Burwood Music Database to connect local musicians and venues for future events.

If you’re interested, register now by filling in the Expression of Interest form below, to be part of this initiative.

🎤 Musicians: Showcase your talent and get paid! Apply to perform at the PLAY LIST micro-festival - at least one band member must be a Burwood local or have a connection to the area. You can also take part in professional development workshops and our local industry forum.

🏠 Venues: Provide a space for small-scale performances - we’ll help with the logistics and connect you with musicians, and industry professionals. We will cover the costs involved.

CLOSING DATE: Friday 9th May 2025
