Burwood Council is planning for a future that will see more residents, businesses, commuters and visitors in Burwood.

The Burwood Town Centre runs along Burwood Road (between Church Street and Parramatta Road) and includes surrounding streets, laneways, arcades, malls, public sitting spaces and parks.

Across our public spaces, Council remains committed to:

• accommodating the smooth movement of increased pedestrian traffic
• provide more areas for individuals and groups to safely enjoy the outdoors
• enhance day and night-time business activity
• provide shade from the sun
• be more visually appealing with artwork and greenery

Council is developing its first Public Space Vision and Action Plan for the Burwood Town Centre, but we can’t do it without your feedback and ideas.

As a resident, business owner/operator or visitor in our area, your opinions are vital in helping us make the right decisions so Burwood remains a great place to live, work and visit.
