Background
Each year, the Delivery Program is reviewed, and a new Operational Plan is prepared. In addition, the Long-Term Financial Plan, which forms part of Council’s Resourcing Strategy, is updated annually as part of the development of the Operational Plan.
Council is currently inviting community feedback on the following draft documents:
- Delivery Program 2025-2029 (Year 2);
- Draft Operational Plan 2026-2027;
- Draft Budget 2026-2027 (contained within the Delivery Program 2025-2029);
- Draft Statement of Revenue Policy (contained within the Delivery Program 2026-2027);
- Draft Fees and Charges 2026-2027; and
- Updated Resourcing Strategy including the updated Long-Term Financial Plan.
We encourage you to download a copy of these documents (available to the right) and submit your feedback and comments to Council by Tuesday 16 June 2026.
Following the public exhibition process a report providing a summary of submissions received and amendments made to the draft documents will be presented to Council for adoption.
How to Make a Submission
Submissions must be received by Tuesday 16 June 2026.
There are two ways you can lodge a submission:

- Email it to council@burwood.nsw.gov.au with the subject line 'Integrated Planning & Reporting Submission.'
