Background
Burwood Council has developed a new suite of Integrated Planning and Reporting (IP&R) documents outlining a clear path to achieving the community’s vision for Burwood. The following documents are now on public exhibition:
- Draft Community Strategic Plan – Burwood 2036;
- Draft Delivery Program 2025-2029 and Draft Operational Plan 2025-2026;
- Draft Fees & Charges 2025-2026; and
- Draft Resourcing Strategy 2026-35.
These plans connect the community’s vision for the area with concrete actions, projects and resources, establishing a clear pathway to long-term, financially sustainable growth.

The draft documents will be on public exhibition from 21 May 2025 to 17 June 2025. Once this period ends, any required amendments will be incorporated and the final versions will be presented to Council for adoption in June 2025.

How to Make a Submission
Submissions must be received by Wednesday 17 June 2025.
There are two ways you can lodge a submission:
- Email it to council@burwood.nsw.gov.au with the subject line ‘Integrated Planning and Reporting Documents.'
- Post it to the Director People and Performance, Burwood Council, PO Box 240, Burwood NSW 1805.
