Council is inviting community feedback on the Draft Councillors Expenses and Facilities Policy. The public exhibition period runs from Thursday 26 May to Wednesday 22 June 2022.

The policy enables the reasonable and appropriate reimbursement of expenses and provision of facilities to councillors to help them undertake their civic duties. It ensures accountability and transparency, and seeks to align councillor expenses and facilities with community expectations.

If you have something to say about any aspect of the draft policy, we encourage you to make a submission. All submissions must be in writing and must be received by 22 June 2022. Please include in the subject line “Submission – Councillor Expenses and Facilities Policy”.
