Background

The Councillors Expenses and Facilities Policy ensures councillors are fairly reimbursed for expenses and provided with the necessary resources to perform their civic duties. The policy promotes transparency, accountability and seeks to align with community expectations.

Council is inviting community feedback on the draft policy. The public exhibition period runs from Tuesday 17 December 2024 to Friday 31 January 2025.

If you have something to say about any aspect of the draft policy, we encourage you to make a submission. All submissions must be in writing and must be received by 31 January 2025. Please include in the subject line “Submission – Councillor Expenses and Facilities Policy”.
