Council is inviting community feedback on the Draft Civic Recognition, Condolences and Small Donations Policy. The public exhibition period runs from Wednesday 25 May to Tuesday 21 June 2022.

The policy provides for Council and the elected Councillors to provide civic recognition and condolences for individuals and organisations in limited circumstances. It also provides guidelines for small donations determined by the Mayor of the day.

If you have something to say about any aspect of the draft policy, we encourage you to make a submission. All submissions must be in writing and must be received by 21 June 2022. Please include in the subject line “Submission – Draft Civic Recognition, Condolences and Small Donations Policy”.
