Burwood Council is planning to install a gateway feature at the corner of Burwood Road and Georges River Road in Croydon Park.

The Gateway feature aims to:

• Serve as a geographical marker for the Burwood LGA
• Provide a welcoming sign for motorists entering the Burwood LGA via Croydon Park
• Establish a sense of identity for the residents of the Burwood LGA
• Activate an otherwise unused vacant land
