We're pleased to advise that Grove Civil have been engaged to undertake the works for this project and construction is due to commence at the end of April, weather permitting.

In July 2024, Burwood Council received community feedback on planned upgrades to existing facilities and a new inclusive playground in Burwood Park.

The project will update existing public furniture and equipment, and contribute to significant social benefits through the development of a new inclusive play space where people of all abilities can meet, play, and have fun.

This project will deliver:

  • Inclusive playground
  • Picnic facilities and accessible BBQs
  • Accessible toilet block
  • Shade and paving over outdoor chessboard
  • Wayfinding signs

This project is funded by the Western Sydney Infrastructure Grants Program.
