Burwood Council is preparing a Walking and Cycling Plan to deliver better walking and cycling connectivity throughout the Burwood Council Area. We are conducting surveys to gather community opinions regarding the current state of walking and cycling in the Council Area and how it may be improved. Walking, cycling, and other mobility methods play a crucial role in promoting a healthy and sustainable community.

You can have your say by filling in an online survey and by providing us with site- specific issues you have and opportunities you would like to see to improve walking and cycling across the Burwood Council area.

Your participation will be deeply appreciated as it will provide valuable insights on the current usage and barriers to walking and cycling, and the potential changes that can be made to improve the experience of these travel modes. Community engagement is an essential factor in a project like this. To help develop an effective Plan that meets the needs of the community, we must first understand how residents value the current walking and cycling conditions as well as understand their requirements for walking and cycling within the Burwood LGA.

The online survey will take approximately 6 minutes to complete and the social pinpoint survey will take approximately 4 minutes to complete. Your responses will remain confidential.

Thank you for taking the time to participate in the surveys. The surveys will remain open until midnight on 17 March 2024 .
